    I'm chatting with myself! :D

I've been thinking about this. What do you think is the best solution?

Showing your photo twice in a row signals "two comments" - which is accurate, but the data display is a little sloppy.

I can't just filter by "unique" because two people talking back-and-forth should be easy to distinguish from the view. ("Scott commented, then Ariel commented, then Scott commented" should show three photo bubbles, not two - right?)

I could de-duplicate repeated photos. But, the issue that rises here is that there are two comments - so would showing just one photo not convey that there are two underlying comments?

I'm not sure! What do you think?

(Somewhat related: I'm not adding an affordance to tell you when a thread has unread comments. So, maybe thinking about that would make this answer clearer!)
